Chicken is distributed through the Apple App Store and licensed, not sold, to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA). Those terms apply in full; this page adds the few points that are specific to Chicken. Where the two differ, the standard EULA prevails.
Chicken is made in Italy by David Jiabiao Zhu, trading as The Real Life Studio. Contact: [email protected].
Everything you log lives on your iPhone. There are no accounts and no servers of ours, so we hold nothing of yours and cannot recover data you delete or lose. Back up your phone, or use "Export my data (JSON)" in Preferences. See the Privacy Policy for what the app reads and writes, including Apple Health and the optional barcode import.
Chicken helps you log workouts and food and suggests targets and progressions based on published training and nutrition guidelines. It is not medical advice and does not replace a doctor, a dietitian or a coach. You are responsible for training within your abilities, for the loads you choose and for the food you eat. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are unsure about a target the app shows, ask a professional first.
Do not copy, extract or redistribute the app's exercise library, animations or other bundled content, reverse-engineer the app beyond what the law allows, or use it in a way that breaks the standard EULA or the App Store terms.
We may change, add or remove features in future versions. We will keep the app working as described in the App Store listing for the version you download, but do not promise that any feature will exist forever. We'll update this page when these terms change and note the date above.
To the extent the law allows, Chicken is provided "as is". We are not liable for injuries, health outcomes, lost data or other losses arising from the use of the app, beyond what the standard EULA and mandatory consumer law provide. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
These terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live and to the terms of the standard EULA.
